Valerie Hall is the first female international hockey umpire in Jamaica.
She has umpired internationally for approximately 10 years and has now moved
on to working as a judge/tournament officer.
She has held several positions on the Board of the Jamaica Hockey
Federation and formerly Jamaica Women's Hockey Association.
Her international hockey appointments as umpire/judge/tournament officer
has taken her to several tournaments, namely; Central American and Caribbean
Games, Pan American Games, Pan American Cup, Champions Trophy and World Cup
Currently she works as judge/tournament officer/tournament director and
assists in the training of umpires and judges in Jamaica.
