Joined SAHC while still attending St. Andrew High school. Played national hockey for 10 years. Became an International hockey umpire while still a player in 1993. Was appointed Grade 1 International umpire in 1997 and retired in 2003. Served as vice president in both the former JWHA and on a number of JHF Boards after that.

Hockey Career Highlights:

• Member of gold medal CAC team 1990
• Officiating in 2 consequtive Junior Pan Am Games 1993 & 1997 & also appointed to officiate at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Malaysia
• Named a St. Andrew High School Trailblazer 2006 (for hockey umpiring)
